Spiderman To Climb Doha’s Tallest Building

The legendary Alain Robert, a French skyscraper climber nicknamed “The Spiderman”, will climb Doha’s tallest building today, April 12th. Alain Robert has scaled 85 giant structures around the globe including many of the world’s tallest structures, most of which he has scaled using only his bare hands and climbing shoes. Today he will tackle the 300-metre tall Torch Doha Hotel Tower without a safety rope and harness.

“Robert will officially climb The Torch Doha 300m tower, for the first time, without safety rope and harness. As a result, Guiness Book of Records will be present at the exciting event, organised in collaboration with Aspire Zone Foundation. Alain Robert’s production team will be shooting The Torch Doha Hotel climbing, as a part of his life documentary in 3D which will be broadcasted in cinemas around the globe.”
